30th September 2024: Classic Merchant Center will be phased out. Ensure you’re familiar with Google Merchant Center Next. Spoiler: there are a lot of new terminologies for example “Feed” is called “Data Source”.
October 2024: New Display and Search campaigns will no longer support enhanced CPC (eCPC) bidding. If you’re still using eCPC, it’s time to explore alternative bidding strategies or manual CPC. Guessing how long that one will stick around.
March 2025: Video Action campaigns will be upgraded to Demand Gen campaigns. This is a huge change. Already start testing DG campaigns if they work for your business and account.
March 2025: The final switch from existing Display and Search campaigns using eCPC to manual CPC for will occur, marking the full transition to the new bidding change.
